I've just remembered where my old Magellan, which didn't work, actually
went. My house was broken into at Easter 2004 and the silly thieves took
it. Hope they had fun.

I don't really want to keep putting the boot in, but my dad has a
Magellan 310.  It doesn't work.

However...

There's a new guaranteed way of never getting lost using a Magellan 310.

You put it on the bonnet of your 4WD just before you go off on foot, and
keep the unit in sight at all times.
