I often wonder about the routes that summer migrants take.....down the coast, along the range, inland, day or night? Havent seen too many reports of CBC's and Bee-eaters from QLD (they are rarely seen near town, althought they have often been recorded west of here) but they are already in NSW......very interesting. Here on the western side of the Divide....Clamorous Reed Warblers for 10days, Sacred Kingfisher for a week, Black-faced Cuckoo-shrikes have returned to the same fork in the same Pepperina for the 3rd season in a row. This last spp. are residents(?) all year but whether I see the same individuals or not will most likely remain a mystery.
