We visited the site about 10 yours ago and there was a sign in the Tiboorburra
NPWS window to ring the station just inside the Wompah Gate, which we did
and he requested we come to the station first. He was a very friendly chap
back then as it took an hour to say thanks and cheerio and get to the site
behind the old house. It took several hours to find the Grasswrens and then
only brief glimpses as they popped up onto cane stems for a look then dropping
back down. White-winged Fairywrens were in plague proportions doing the same
making us very twitchy. Cheers Chris |
