I went to the corner of Awaba and Spit Road early this morning ------- and found -------

 

A wooden owl tied clumsily to a tree with string.

 

The Northern beaches area of Sydney was great – despite the wooden owl,

 

Amongst others, this was a quality day’s birding;

Osprey

Sea Eagle

Whistling Kite

Peregrine

Black Bittern

Azure Kingfishers

Rockwarblers
