HELLO All, a couple of weeks ago I wrote that it was unusual that Scarlet Honeyeaters were being reported through out the winter months from many locations in the County of Cumberland this year and recieved some comments that appeared to infer that this was not unusual. This got me looking through my records and I find that out of 140 local outings, 10 years of records for my home at Annangrove, 3 years of home records from Baulkham Hills and 4years of home records from North Sackville I only ever recorded them once prior to August. They arrived 97% of the time in late August early Sept so they are definatley summer migrants in the North West of the County.
