Dear all,

while strolling through Melbourne Zoo on Sunday afternoon, one of the zoo-keepers was nice enough to point out a wild Powerful Owl roosting in broad day-light in an old tree in the cassowary enclosure.

According to the man, the bird must have been around for weeks, though it sometimes shifts its roosting spot.

Cheers
Frank
