Hi
I visited Bobbin Head in Ku-Ring-Gai NP (N Sydney) today for a brief walk with my family.  We walked along the mangrove boardwalk and up the Gibberagong Track to the small rainforest area.  The Yellow Tufted HEs were being very vocal and active today and showed very well.  In the mangroves there was a female Rose Robin.
On the creek itself was an Australasian Grebe - I've never seen one here before and unusual to see one on tidal water - I'd mentally associate them with farm dams and freshwater lakes.
Cheers
Tom Wilson
