Thanks to the several birders who have emailed info about the White-streaked Honeyeater.  Their suggestions related to the Bamaga area, which is a long way north.

Looking at the New Atlas of Australian Birds, there appear to be records in the vicinity of Laura (to judge from the dots on the map), and also on the coast east of  there (could this represent Cooktown?)

Can anyone advise on these localities?
