Brisbane birders may be interested to know that there were two juvenile
Pacific Gulls this morning at Scarborough on the Redcliffe Peninsula.
The Pacific Gull is a scarce visitor to Queensland.

The birds were on Queens Beach North at 10.00am and were with a small
flock of Silver Gulls hanging around a fisherman. They are large and
dark and easily picked out at quite a distance.
