Hi John,
I went there on same day but too bad we did not meet.
(I was carrying a scope)

In addtion to that,

There was a White-throated Treecreeper along Griffith
Trail(just 20m from the picnic area) with a metal band
on its right leg.

A big flock of about 60 Yellow-tailed Cockatoos were
circling above the reserve. Magnificent view.

Despite in winter season, Fan-tailed Cuckoo was
'abundant' (often saw 2 birds perched on same tree)
from the research house, along the exposed healthland
to the start of of woodlands.

Eastern Bristlebird was easier to see compared to last
week. Probably because of rain the day before. All
small birds, including Bristlebird like to bathe in
the small rain puddles. Too bad there were also many
hikers on that day.

Cheers,
Tun-Pin Ong
