Anecdotal evidence - I am told that the Sea-eagles at Limeburners
Creek/Alsworth on the Karuah River, NSW, Bucketts Way north of
Newcastle, visit the local chicken farms and take the carcasses thrown
out for later burning. Which is why when one drives along this stretch
of the road one often sees Whistling Kites, Little and Wedge-tailed
Eagles and the Sea-eagles.

occasions. The most recent time, about 2 years ago, was when I found
a pair of sea-eagles feeding on the carcase of a recently dead calf,
still born? at Tuggerah near Wyong, not far from their nest.
