Hi all I've seen adult Sea-eagles eat carrion on two occasions before, both road killed kangaroos. One was last year on the Julia Creek to Normanton Road (Queensland) about 5 k's South of the Cloncurry River and the other only two weekends ago between Roper Bar and Mataranka (Northern Territory) about 10k's from the Roper River. On both occasions there were also Black and Whistling Kites also surrounding the road kills but the Sea-eagle had the rule of the roost. Cheers Marc Numbulwar NT |
