Apologies again for non-bird-related theme,

For anyone interested, there are apparently killer whales in the Heads of Port Phillip Bay. Last time they turned up, they stayed and fed there for a day.

The area can be viewed from various points but best from Pt Nepean National Park - though you'd need to walk to the end. Alternatively, there is a look-out just above Sorrento but you can only see just south of the Rip.

If anyone goes, please let me know. 0405 220830.

Cheers,

Simon Mustoe.
