An adult female Black-necked Stork was photographed at Griffith’s Point, Illawong, Georges River near Oatley, Sydney on 19 May 2005. Interested Sydney birders may like to keep an eye out for this spectacular rarity. Congratulations to Debbie Andrew for finding this amazing bird- perhaps the first in Sydney county since 1977-78.
