Further to my European Wasp Message

The observations of bird decline in my previous
message are anecdotal from myself, other Landcarers (I
am a Landcare Convenor) and people involved with this
issue. But they are no surprise to people at the
CSIRO who work closely with local control authorities
on this issue.

I am after any hard data on this subject.

That is affects of European wasp populations on bird
numbers and diversity.

I will use this information with local managers in the
ACT and to help raise awareness of the issue.

Please read,

If you are interested. This will take you to
Envirotalk where I have compiled CSIRO media releases
and information and my own experiences while finding
55 European wasp nests which can contain several
thousand wasps each.
