Hi All,
T'morning, while relaxing with a coffee and the paper on the back deck, my
attention was deverted by a group of Noisy Miners and their alarm calls. I
found my bins, and checked the tree where the NM's were, expecting to find
an Owl. What I found was a P. Falcon on top of a nearby power pole with a
NM
in it's talons. I charged back inside and grabbed the spotting scope. Then
spent the nexted 30mins watching this amazing raptor devour it's kill.
The funniest part, was watching my young daughters being both amazed and
grossed out by the whole event.

What a great start to the day ! Unless your a NM or hate returning to cold
coffee.

Regs
Simon Hayes.

P.S. When the PFalcon left. it was heading in the direction of Field of
Mars.
