About ten years ago I rented a house in Dayboro, a small town about
45kms NW of Brisbane. As a (former) single man I had neglected the
garden somewhat (the grass was about one-metre high!) and on one
winters day I noticed an Intermediate Egret land in the centre of the
'lawn' and proceeded to eat at least 3 house-mice.
Fortunately I managed to capture this on analogue-video, if anyone
would like to see a brief clip on Windows Media I can send it, but
some might find it a bit gruesome (...and it's a large file)
