A group of fifteen Australian Ravens flew over our place this morning,
heading North. They were largely ignored by our resident pair. About 30
minutes later, the same group (I presume) came back in the opposite
direction. This time they were summarily escorted from the area by the
residents, aided by 3 Magpies and a pair of Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike. I
have never seen such a congregation of Aus Ravens before, apart from around
garbage dumps (sorry, our Council prefers to call them 'Solid Waste Disposal
Areas'). Would this be a juvenile gang?
