Hi all
A pleasant before-work visit to Minnippi this morning and a new bird for
my records - a Rufous Fantail! Looked like a juvenile - ?
Other usual suspects - including a family party of 6 Jacanas and some
very close Spangled Drongos. About 25 White-breasted Wood-swallows on
the wires and 4 Bee eaters near the carpark signals migratory movement.
Also a party of 9 Starlings - no big deal, but I think I am seeing more
of these the last few months and less of the Indian Mynas or is it just
my imagination? I do prefer the Starlings - altho I know, I know they're
a 'pest' too...!!
