Hi all,
As mentioned previously I saw Fork-tailed Swifts passing over Adelaide last Thurs 31 March ( 2 birds at West Beach). Hot north winds persisted until a westerly change late Sat evening.
Fri 01 April yielded 25+ Swifts between 8.00 & 9.15am, then Saturday about 100 between 6.30 (sunrise) & 9.45am, and a further 30 or so between 4.30 & 6.20pm (6 after sunset at 6.05pm). Most birds were fairly low and moving generally east, while a few were higher and 'floating' slowly north. No Needletails identified. These sightings from home at Novar Gardens.

North winds may return later this week (?).
