Visited Bobbin Head and Apple Tree Bay in Ku-Ring-Gai NP, N Sydney today for
a picnic with some recently arrived and non-birding visitors. We did a
quick stroll across the little bridge at Apple Tree Bay and a short way
(<50m!) along the track that heads to Berowra. Seen here was a late(ish?)
Rufous Fantail, which was displaying for all it was worth. Had 2 Spotted
Pardalotes within touching distance and there was an Azure Kingfisher
zipping along the creek and calling vigorously.

Driving back towards Sydney from Bobbin Head, 3 Glossy Black Cockatoos flew
ahead of the car for a short distance so must be feeding in the casuarinas
around there at present.

Cheers and Happy Easter Birding
