G'day,

had to make a quick trip into Atherton this morning. On the way in I passed a Grey Goshawk, grey phase male, on a power line opposite the Yungaburra State Forest. Near the Barron River were a White-bellied Sea Eagle and Black Kite.

On the return trip a Wedge-tail flew over the Yungaburra S.F. and there was a Collared Sparrowhawk on a branch as I drove into my yard.

In Atherton I saw a Rose-crowned Fruit-dove near the fire station, while the Double-eyed Fig-Parrots are still feeding in the middle of Yungaburra. For those who want very specific directions:- Go to the bar of the pub, buy yourself a drink while shouting the bar, turn left, proceed to an outside table and direct your attention to the fig in the middle of the street.

Regards,
Alan Gillanders
