"My attitude is that National Parks belong to the nation, therefore
they belong to us all, therefore we shouldn't be charged for
photgraphing in them, or accessing them, or even, and this will create
a bit of uproar, camping in them....
"

Take this message to the politicians!  National Parks in Australia are grossly underfunded.  Mind you, biodiversity conservation, in general, in this country is grossly underfunded.
