g'day all,

One of the advantages suggested for Windows Outlook alternatives is the ability to group emails by subject. Outlook Express (and presumably Outlook, has this facility when the Inbox is open.

1
- Click "View" (in the top toolbar)
- Click "Current View"
- Click "Group Messages by Conversation"
- Clicking the plus (+) sign expands the thread.

2
Another alternative is to click "Subject"

3
It also has a "Find" function
Right Click "Inbox" or "local Folders", them click "Find" and fill in the appropriate box.

4
But rather than have too many emails bank up in the "Inbox" make new folders within "Local Folders" by Right Clicking and clicking "New Folder" etc. Then drag the emails you want to keep to the new Folder, and delete the rest.
