Hi Colin, There has been a white Cockatiel in the bushes alongside the Nepean River at Penrith since September. I have seen it 4 times about 1 month apart in that time. I realise that this might have been 4 different ones, but that appears unlikely. On the other hand it does seem a long time for one to survive in the wild, especially as I have never seen it associated with any other birds.
