The Werribee Birdwatchers (Werribee Wagtails) have access to a Community Bus a couple of times a year.  One of our member recommended the Banyule Wetlands as he knew the area well, unfortunately he is now not able to lead this proposed trip. However we would still like to visit the area on March 1st. We depart Werribee at 8-30am so would assume we would be in the area by 9-30am, coming via the Western Ring Road.   We would expect to return to Werribee at approx 2-30pm.

  • Is there any kind birder watcher familiar with the area who could suggest where we should go?
  • Better still maybe someone has spare time and would like to lead us?
  • We are not high on skill but we make up for this by our enthusiasm and interest

Our program is advertised in Bird Observers Club of Australia and we often have the company of birdwatchers from other Clubs, even from other countries.

I will be at Point Lonsdale for the next two weeks but hope to have access to the internet.

Any assistance would be gratefully received.
