Tania was not the only mad birder there today - I had two visitors and
I also saw another birder there. I can't quite match Tania having only
seen 68 species (without leaving the car). Our highlights included
Avocet in Lake Borrie (not where Tania saw them), Buff-banded Rail on
the road near the Borrow Pits (tide was too high for there to be any
crakes/rails on Little River), several White-winged Terns on Little
River and Common Terns, Ruddy Turnstone and Pacific Golden Plover at
Kirk Point.
