Hi All,

Recently I was contacted by Paul Mason in the UK who is writing a book on the Golden Oriole (/Oriolus oriolus/) and is searching for any information regarding other species of the same genus (/Oriolus/) particularly those in Australia and Wallacea (Indonesia, New Guinea and Pacific islands)

He is very interested in the documented similarity between friarbird and orioles in the wallacean islands.

If anyone has any scientific notes or anecdotes regarding Olive-backed or Yellow Orioles and Figbirds please contact Paul (pmlindenburyathotmaildotcom) or myself.
