Inner-City Fairies

I saw a trio of what appeared to be female superb wrens in the spectacle garden at the Roma St Parklands - the first fairy wrens that I've seen in a Brisbane CBD location [albeit on the fringe of the CBD]. There was a buff-banded rail lurking behind them in a flower bed. It is always interesting to see the "ground" birds adapting to the inner city. It also interesting to work out how the little chaps made their way to the park - probably along a corridor to the north ...

Regards, Laurie.
