Hi Birding-aussers, I have mentioned this on the forum before. Every year, at this time of year, we have reports of House Crows here in SEQ. They invariably turn out to be juvenile Torresian Crows! They are always with an adult Torresian Crow & have the following features;

1. Shorter bill & tail. Smaller bird.
2. Paler, brownish/ nape & upper-tail coverts.
3. Pale, pinkish? gular/gape.
4. Softer call.
5. Dark Iris.

Sound familiar - Good!!
