Hello birding-aus,

Thanks to those who responded so promptly.
I have now listened to the frogmouth call several times and I am
convinced that what I have been hearing is a Tawny Frogmouth.
But how do we explain the WHITE bird that I have seen?
The best suggestion is that it is an albino froggie.

Now that I have something more to go on I will have to get a better
look at its head.

Thanks a lot for your interest.
