GREEN Pygmy-Goose in SEQ

Having been alerted by my friend Shirley who wanted confirmation, I went to
Poona Dam in Nambour this morning and found four male Green Pygmy-Geese.

 

In fifteen years of birding here, this is the first time either of us has
seen them in this area.
