Finally getting someone to pay for a trip to Perth weekend 3-6th dec,
so Lynda's coming too and we're hoping to get some birding done.

Wanting to maximise our brief time there and fragmented time frames.
I've been printing out options from Frank O'Connor's brilliant site
and have been cross referencing with Bransbury.

So, here's the scenario. We will have a hire car. Staying city hotel.
Free on the Friday from 11am till 6pm
Saturday 6pm till dark.
Sunday Morning free. Possibly then free again 5pm till dark.

Here are my thoughts.
Friday. head out to Wungong Gorge / Bungendore. or John Forrest NP?
Obviously not the best time of day and have to be back in city by 6pm.
Saturday evening. Kings Park.
Sunday. My afternoon engagement is in Floreat, near Herdsman Lake.
So get there via Pelican Point then Herdsman.
Return to Herdsman later if possible.

So, knowing the state of the lakes & time of year, any suggestion?

thanks in anticipation
