Just saw the last few minutes of the Gouldian Finch story on tonights “7:30 Report” on the ABC (the one usually hosted by Kerry O’Brien). From what I got out of it was that we should follow traditional aboriginal burning practices if we are to save the Gouldian Finches from extinction. There was some footage of the Gouldian Finches in the wild (from 2 different documentaries shown previously on the ABC) and some in captivity.
