Hi all,
Just a catch up on the Field of Mars Reserve at Ryde Sydney, NSW.
Over the past 5 weeks I have the seen the Collared Sparrowhawk ( no Nesting
) and a Grey Goshawk (Carl Webber enjoyed that one with me), but I can't
get them on the same day as they probably prefer to keep at a distance from
each other ?
Today I visited the site and found a personal lifer with Nevil
Lazarus and Paul Johnstone. A Cicadabird-male. Nevil's photo's are
impressive.

Dollarbird
Peregrine Falcon
Whistling Kite ( just passing over )
Leaden Flycatcher
Eastern Whipbird (heard only)
Scarlet Honeyeater
Olive-backed Oriole
My personal quest is to get Nevil to photo the Collared Sparrowhawk, but at
this stage it's been a bogey. I'll keep dragging Nevil up there until he
refuses to take my calls. If he doesn't get a good shot soon, he'll change
his mobile phone number.
