Birds for my Dad!

Hi all
as threatened last week, with my RFI for Port Macquarie, I have set out
below a list of species that my Dad has on his "watch list" when he is
visiting from the UK over the next three weeks.  As you will see below, I
have a few sites in mind for some where I have seen the birds myself, but
any recent sightings or good locations in the Sydney area gratefully
received, and I'll let you know how we get on if we get out to anywhere
directed.
I'm not sure where our trips will take us (or how often my Mum will let us
out as she wants to see me too!) and we won't be able to do any huge walks,
rock climbing etc, but I've spread my net fairly wide as you can see below.
(Note - KRG = Ku-Ring-gai Nat Park, which is close to my house.)

Little Penguin    (Syd Harbour - Manly area)
Banded Lapwing (any seen around Cornwallis Rd, Richmond recently?)
Quail species (any will do!)
Brush Bronzewing (KRG - W Head Rd; Red Hill Reserve Harbord)
Glossy Black Cockatoo    (KRG Bobbin Head; Flint & Steel/Resolute Track;
Blue Mts)
Gang-gang    (Upper Lane Cove River valley - does anyone know if this colony
is still present?; Blue Mts)
Little Lorikeet. (Central Coast)
Boobook Owl    (Killara - if I can find it again!; is there a reliable one
(if there is such a thing in birding) in Cumberland SF?)
Grass Owl
Sooty Owl    (Lady Carrington Drive Royal NP)
White Throated Nightjar
Chestnut Rumped Heathwren   (Blue Mts; KRG W Head tracks)
Pilotbird    (Lady Carrington Drive Royal NP)
Spotted Quail Thrush
Black Chinned H'eater
Flame Robin (Blackheath, Blue Mts)
Scarlet Robin
Masked Woodswallow
