Hi,

If anyone is interested, we just got back from a morning birding upper FTG. Found a Brown Gerygone on the main track north of the car park. The bird was about half way between where the three tracks from the car park converge and the start of the 'thousand steps'. It was singing briefly and feeding in vegetation at about head height on the left hand side of the track as you head uphill.

Also red-browed treecreeper, a few rose robins, long-billed scrubwren and two wedge-tailed eagles over.

Regards,

Simon Mustoe
