hi all
thanks to everyone for their feedback on location details. i have more than one atlas as it goes - though none is of the detail i'd like - and a growing collection of maps, which are getting very expensive.
as a city office drone (who dreams of a birding safari) i try to steal a few moments at work to sneak a peek at birding-aus postings for a bit of astral travel. hence it's not always possible to consult an atlas.
i've heard there is a comprehensive australian map software package called DiscoverAus. if anyone has tried it or anything similar, i'd like to hear about it.
i enjoy the chatter immensely btw - even the old trolls! apologies for the alias, but i'm not out of the closet just yet. ; )
happy voting!
