saw first black-faced monarch for the summer (and personally for many years) by the america bay track at ku-ring-gai chase NP on sunday. what a handsome fellow! a great treat on a very warm and quiet day bird-wise. the lizards were lapping it up though.
sadly missed the tattler at maroubra on sat.
spectacled drongo
