Well, Edwin may be right.  Koels were heard in Turramurra, N Sydney
yesterday (3 Oct) and seen that afternoon - I think they may be a bit late
as I reckon that my local Red Wattlebirds are already feeding young, judging
from the fact that both adults were seen yesterday carrying food items to
wherever their nest is.  Channel Billed Cuckoo were also heard for the first
time yesterday and I think I heard a Dollarbird cackling this afternoon, but
wasn't quick enough out of the house to see.
