Last year I asked for a northernmost record for European (a.k.a. Common) Blackbird.

Today, as webmaster of Birds Queensland ( http://www.birdsqueensland.org.au/ ) I just received a sighting for a Male Blackbird in Bracken Ridge (a Brisbane suburb).

This is about 10 minutes of arc north (20km) of the small colony in Toowoomba.
