Further to the Urbanising Birds theme, no one seems to have mentioned the
renegade Pied Currawongs who set up home in Pitt Street in the middle of
Sydney CBD in August. They were on TV sharpening their beaks on metal
awnings and attacking passers by.

This behaviour seems unusual, as Currawongs are not common in the CBD, and
as far as I know they do not usually attack people.
