Little Beach is reached by turning off the main road to Two Peoples Bay,
just as you are about to get there, i.e. already into the Reserve. The
Little Beach carpark is reputed (by Frank O'Connor) to be the best place for
Western Bristlebird early in the morning and we heard them clearly (as well
as Western Whipbird) although did not see them in an hour waiting one early
morning in late March this year. Along the walk from Little Beach to Two
Peoples Bay itself (I think about 3 - 4 kms) is Frank's 3rd best choice to
find Noisy Scrubbird, and we did find it on that walk, although not find it
at either Cheynes Beach (apparently the resident NSB has been killed by
Feral cat) or at Two Peoples Bay itself or the spot in the Waychinicup NP
that Frank recommends.

Cheynes Beach is a fair bit further East from Two Peoples Bay, towards
Esperance.

We did find Red-eared Firetail in the bush at the front of the Cheynes Beach
Caravan Park entrance and Carnaby's Cockatoos roost in the Caravan Park
every night.

Regards & good luck
Bob Cook

G'day all. Off to SW WA in two weeks. Can anyone tell me where Cheynes
Beach is in relation to Little Beach in Two Peoples Bay? I'm unable to
locate Little Beach on the maps I've got. Perhaps it's too little.

Thanks a lot,

LGJ.
