Hi birding friends, comrades, buddies,

I'm heading to Cairns, the Atherton Tableland and Georgetown next week -
so this is a quick RFI on whether there are any interesting birds
about at the moment.

A few birds targeted are:
· Papuan Frogmouth ? precise direction re the known roost in the
botanical gardens
· Recent info on Rufous Owl roosts
· Any interesting swallows at Newell Beach at the moment?
· Rarities?
· Recent sightings / information about Georgetown i.e. Gouldian?s.
· ...and for good measure, let?s fling in Lovely Fairy-wren.

(I could mention a few others, but I don?t want to be too greedy ;-)

Also anybody willing to spend a spare afternoon or two birding (between
Sept 14 ? 21) please contact me.

Thanks in advance,

Tim Dolby
