G'day All,
Just to back up Bob Forsayth's expereince, south of Narrabri NSW after a wet summer in the late 80's, Mistletoebirds placed a lot of seeds on one particular section of barbed wire fence. Moreover the season was consistently wet enough for the seed to germinate and sprout rootlets and buds.It goes to show how competent this parasitic plant can be despite the odds.
