Hi all, Bill here

This morning on my ride into the city I came across the commonly-seen flock
of about 30 yellow tailed black cockatoos. They were hanging around the old
pine trees next to the former Fairfield infections diseases hospital.
Presently the flew off across Merri Creek into Clifton Hill, and settled in
a tree at the eastern end of Spensley street.

Several of them were carrying what looked like pine needles in their beaks.
Nesting material?
