Hi Marc
Thanks for your email and yes on closer examination and given all the facts I think you are right. My impressions were an identical bird in shape, size and mannerism to Brown Honeyeater but very much lighter underneath and without the olive markings. I had Pizzey and Knight with me and deduced from that. After your email I managed to find  a shot of BB Honeyeater on the web and it too matches the characteristics. The clincher I think is the much paler and finely marked chest area of the BB. So hats off to you and I'm not at all disappointed as still a new bird for me.
