Thanks too to David for info on acquiring second-hand copies. I will also
try "Biblioquest" who are Australian-based and have located a number of rare
titles for me on Eucalypts (another passion of mine). List members may wish

Having worked in the natural history book trade for a little while a few years back, I can recommend http://www.bookfinder.com as the one booksellers look at! I've found many books in the US and UK in my own areas of interest via this site - often quite cheap. Bookfinder searches all the online book databases - but it isn't associated with any of them - it just provides links.

For the wader book in question it turned up 12 copies, ranging in price from $AUD32 - 83 (you'd need to add postage). I note that one of the copies is here in Oz at Andrew Isles' shop (for $AUD50)
