Powerful Owls

Five years ago, a microbiologist at Maquarie Univ. named Andy Holmes took a
couple of dutch birders and my husband and I to look for Powerful Owls in
Lane Cove NP.  I cannot locate Andy nor information on reaching Lane Cove
and whether the owls are still there.  Can anyone help?  We are planning a
trip to Australia, arriving July 21 in Sydney and would like to start with
Lane Cove, before heading south to the Royal National Park.
