   I can back up Frank, have seen the Mangrove Golden Whistler near the old
jetty on two different visits, spring and autumn. Less adventurous but much
cleaner than the Crab Creek mud. Most of the other Mangrove specials also
there, if you spend long enough looking, but had to go to the Derby boat
ramp for Mangrove Robin, which is more accessible at Cairns. Sit on the edge
of the beer garden of the Mangrove Hotel with a scope in the early mornings
when White-breasted Whistlers sing from the top of the mangroves.
